Yesterday morning, I was awake early (nothing different from any other morning) and was bursting with electric joy that shocked all that I came into contact with.
After getting dressed and tending to Poppy and the doggy that I was pet sitting...well, the complete truth is, I was considering keeping this wired-haired, hyena-like terror as Poppy's (my dog of 6.5 years) companion, yea NO, that's not going to happen; I happily and briskly walked to my car and bumped into a cloud that I'd shooed away at least a week prior. After half-assed dealing with that non-factor, minutiae I leaned into the driver's seat of my car, pulled my hoodie over my head and found some proper, "riding music".
Daddy, had properly equipped me with the tools to ride off into the sunrise and snag yet another, love of my life. He's good like that.
The precision of Siri is second to none (she did everything, except actually drive the car)...I arrived to this almost, scary home in an incredibly pleasant neighborhood and environment...the house reeked of urine. I wouldn't be shocked if it was human urine mixed in with the pungent scent of animals. Anyhoo, she was pleasant enough and was holding my lil love bug in her hands, all soapy and wet. She proceeded to her kitchen sink and rinsed her clean.
We then entered a small room that she obviously used for grooming and she blow-dried the ball of fur to completion. We made our exchange and left.
I, proceeded to the Farmer's Market as I'd intended to do days prior...that was the sole purpose of me driving an hour away from my home on a Sunday morning (I usually take that day incredibly easy and don't make ANY moves until after I've watched Joel Osteen--don't judge me). I bumped into one of my "friends" from the market I participate in Downtown Phoenix...we chatted it up for a bit, and then I trotted right down to the lady's booth that I'd come out to see.
I'm soooo glad that I did...as she had AMAZING produce that I was happy to purchase (just wish I had more $$$ to spend with her). She also saved me from insurmountable anxiety, shock, fear, tears, and possibly violent anger (my squeamishness makes me incredibly, extreme)...she exchanged her amazing energy and strength with me and I am grateful that she's part of my village :)
Before, I knew her I named her. Before I knew what the name meant, I named her. The universe spoke to me, and I'm grateful I have an in tuned ear when the language enters my spirit.

*Swish, scratch, swish*...went the brushes and palm swipes of seven-subtly, eager artists against their roughly-textured and prepped canvases. Resonating incredibly soothing feels, like a medium-bristled brush being lovingly and carefully raked through her hair. It gave her the chills (click to read more of the sample and purchase)...
She, steadily walked down the busy road, yet there were no appropriate sidewalks and cars were whizzing by. At any given time, there may have been a million questions/comments/thoughts/replays/intentions and words traveling along the synapses of her nerve endings, overflowing her system and blowing her mind (click to read more of the sample and purchase)...
