This is the longest hiatus I've ever taken from writing and/or blogging. It's been too long, yet just long enough. Life came at me fast AF for the past couple of years with no apologies nor any regards to my feelings. Whew chile, when I tell you life does NOT hit like a bitch...I mean it. Life 2-pieced me for what seems like everyday for the past 2 years. When January 2020 hit, I couldn't believe I was still alive!
But, there were some incredible highlights and beauty for my ashes. Without rehashing and reliving what I've already peacefully released, I must say that so many folks were revealed to me within that time-frame. Folks, that I would have never thought would leave me out in the cold, figuratively and literally.
But! All, that is behind me as I remember this particular night, while walking down the street one brisk evening when in Chicago; the one that I spent outside, I remember saying aloud, "These folks have no idea who I'll become."
Now, with that said, I'd like to move on to the pieces that were amazing (oh, don't worry, I'll build on the "Shits" in later posts; but for now, let's keep this shit LIT). Pressure definitely bursts pipes, however, it also creates diamonds. Or shall I say, reveals and polishes diamonds? So many pieces to share and such limited space in todays blog!
June 2019, Hunny Goddess Radio was successfully launched (powered by Stationhead ) and boy what a ride that has been. I've learned many things about the industry, what I'm capable of as well my ability to create a different type of content. Hunny Goddess Radio has hosted many shows (7 days per week; mostly at 8 PM EST--will add lineup soon), interviewed so many incredible independent artists, as well launched an entire TOUR!
The Indie Artist Tour was launched on October 5, 2019 from Indianapolis, IN and boy has it been one hell of a ride. We began by picking up DJ Temptations from Birmingham, AL and then trotted off to Atlanta, GA to connect with one of the dopest humans (and Major sponsor of the tour) in the world, Rory Nicole of Gotcha Jewelry and Dope Human Apparel.
We established home in Atlanta for the Indie Artist Tour as we hunted the finest gems (artists) that Atlanta had to offer. We ran across some pretty amazing folks and brought them to our radio stations to interview as well break their music, run up their streams and broaden their audiences.
From Atlanta, we jotted down the road to Jackson, MS where we planted for 2 weeks while we put together the most amazing showcase of Indie Artists! Boy, was that a highlight and left me beaming and my chest poked out and puffed up like a proud hen.
After, Jackson, MS...we made our way to the grittiness of New Orleans, LA where we hunkered down for a few weeks and went on a culinary tour as well further expanded the transformation of Jazz the tour van.
After spending Thanksgiving in LA and the passing of a pretty nasty Mercury Retrograde, we were directed to Austin, TX! OMG....how many ways do we love Austin, TX?! How many ways can I convey this to you? Stay tuned and I shall do just that. Go into incredible details about each location; each stop and what we experienced while there.
We returned to Atlanta and Birmingham for a couple of weeks while on a lull before ripping the runways, highways and train tracks for the east coast leg of our tour which restarts, March 2020. I'm so eager to share all of the details with you guys and thank you for welcoming me back with open arms and loving hearts as you are truly appreciated.

*Swish, scratch, swish*...went the brushes and palm swipes of seven-subtly, eager artists against their roughly-textured and prepped canvases. Resonating incredibly soothing feels, like a medium-bristled brush being lovingly and carefully raked through her hair. It gave her the chills (click to read more of the sample and purchase)...
She, steadily walked down the busy road, yet there were no appropriate sidewalks and cars were whizzing by. At any given time, there may have been a million questions/comments/thoughts/replays/intentions and words traveling along the synapses of her nerve endings, overflowing her system and blowing her mind (click to read more of the sample and purchase)...
