This is the coziest, most lovely coffee shop that I've frequented in the great city of Chicago, and while being a coffee advocate, I've visited quite a few. The owner is absolutely amazing--he's funny, compassionate, caring and warm...and exhausted. He's single-handedly created an artists' haven and safe space for the community (near and extended), but being a one-man show has become taxing on my kindred spirit. I walked into his shop about two weeks ago (I've been a customer for years now), and he gently placed the shop into my lap. What's so amazing about this shifting is, I've wanted a coffee shop since I was 16 years old (along with becoming a Parisian :)) and my dream was exposed to me, and now I'm hungry for it. I've been working diligently on raising capital for the business, as I'm eager to broaden and expand the foundation that he's already laid. I know that there are equally amazing people in this world, far more phenomenal than not, even; with that, as a collective unit, we can create greatness. I have utter faith that the right players and partners will meet to maintain the integrity of this amazing space, and create new greatness. Please share, donate and/or join us in this amazing movement. www.gofundme.com/coffeeshopdreams

*Swish, scratch, swish*...went the brushes and palm swipes of seven-subtly, eager artists against their roughly-textured and prepped canvases. Resonating incredibly soothing feels, like a medium-bristled brush being lovingly and carefully raked through her hair. It gave her the chills (click to read more of the sample and purchase)...
She, steadily walked down the busy road, yet there were no appropriate sidewalks and cars were whizzing by. At any given time, there may have been a million questions/comments/thoughts/replays/intentions and words traveling along the synapses of her nerve endings, overflowing her system and blowing her mind (click to read more of the sample and purchase)...
