While wading through the bitter cold, snow, ice and slush mixed with what looks to be a red-clay or at least a very close, first cousin, I remembered just how important it is for seasons to change. Seasons are proof that change is inevitable and viable to sustain a healthy and happy life. Speaking of change, as the final leg of my blunderous tour came to an end, but not before I devoured an "In n Out" burger (plus one for the road), sorry I digress, I stopped in Flagstaff, AZ where a friend of mine lives. We met in Chicago some years ago and both of our paths in life led us to AZ (for different reasons of course, but the timing was almost in tandem), so I contacted her to let her know I'd be coming through as I headed home. My intentions are to leave people in a better place than when I met them. - J. G. Carpenter With a full plate of things to do as it was the eve of New Years Eve, this elegant powerhouse, still found time to make time for me. Not only did she make time, we caught up--there was a genuine concern for my well-being (as was mine of her), she fed me (as you can see there is a pattern here, feed me and I shall forever be your friend, lol) enjoyed red wine until our lips were slightly purple and puckered as evidence of it's existence. What drizzled the honey atop the already delicious and well-crafted cake was, she put me up for the night in such comfortable digs, encouraged me as she knows who I am, wished me well and confidently pushed me out of the nest.
My dear Jana, thank you for your kindness, contribution to the world and leaving it in a better place than when you found it. Your kindness has been paid forward. ![]() I’m a firm believer that there are far more good that occurs in the world on an everyday basis.
I know this to be true. I haven’t watched the news in so many years, that I can’t really remember that I ever did. What I do remember about the news then and currently (if I happen to catch a glimpse of it because I’m some place where it’s playing) is that it was/is mostly, heavily-ladled with negative, sad, depressing, horrendous, callous, traumatic news with a slight, sprinkle of jovial bits. And, as far as I’m concerned, aint nobody got time for that! So, in an effort to highlight, acknowledged and applaud the folks around the world, that contribute to the pool of greatness, I’ve created this section just for you. This shall be fun, plus it shall help me to prove my theory! Hunny GoddessI'm dedicated. Archives
