Welcoming Ginger

I woke up this morning feeling some kinda way. Pms is a real, mother shut yo mouth. These feelings were escalated into a fiery pit, when I walked into the room to see that my dog decided to poop on the floor, despite he'd been outdoors several times. And, as I threaten at least 6x's per week, he was on his way to homelessness.

After a great encounter with my neighbors and receiving an awesome text message, my mood was on an upswing, shift.

After, showering and dressing, I decided to randomly visit a place I've never been for breakfast. And, I stumbled upon this gem. Thank you God!

Third Space Cafe - such a cool lil nook <3 1028 Grand Avenue
This is one of the coolest spots I've been to since I've been in Phoenix. The universe definitely knows how to direct me (especially, when I ask to be). I walked into this establishment for an early lunch and was greeted by the most jovial, warm and confident lady. She's dressed in a kick-ass vintage dress, she's artsy, tatted and red-headed (I have a serious adoration for gingers ;))

Lady Erica - Come out and see her, but don't hog her as I'm a tad territorial! ;) I paid her kindness forward and left her with a sweet treat (Praline Bars)
If there was any lingering funk that traveled with me, she melted it upon seeing her. Her smile lit up the room and she was very knowledgable about the menu, so much so that without my looking at the menu, I was able to order strictly by her recommendations.

I had the "El Cubano" and Pesto Potato Salad. It was really good. That damn pickle was the shiznit!
The food was great, but it was the vibe of the cafe and "Lady Erica" that made me snuggle up in the oversized chair in the corner, plug-in, get comfortable and begin typing away.

In just the time I've been sitting here, you've placed numerous smiles on several folks' faces. Thank you for your contribution of greatness. You ROCK! <3

I come across some incredible folks on the regular basis. Thank God, I either attract them or I'm placed in their path as often as I am.

The other day, I needed a tow and was meeting them at my friend's house. Another friend, without hesitation took me quite a distance to meet the tow.

There was a wee bit of traffic plus,  the friend that was driving has the patience of Job when it comes to driving and traffic and I can be quite the opposite (grrrrrrr),  so we were moseying along, without any worries (well, I was having several silent panic attacks as I knew my friend was waiting for me).

Finally, we arrived and I thanked my friend for taking me as I was most certainly grateful. The tow truck had been there for over 20 minutes waiting for me, in the heat very patiently and upon my arrival they were smiling!

They could have just left, but they didn't. My friend and I had no idea where the auto place was that the tow was taking the car, so those very nice gentleman told us to follow them. The (2) Damsels in Distress (my friend and I) were most certainly grateful.

They arrived at the auto shop, and waited patiently while I spoke with the mechanic (for at least 10 mins), they then released my car and drove and parked it where the mechanic told me it should go.

I wasn't able to get a picture of them, but I want them to know that their kindness didn't go unnoticed. I gave them a large jar of my Praline Bars and they were really excited. Which placed a grin on my face.

Also, not to leave anyone out, Jim from Firestone, totally ROCKED and I'm very grateful to have encountered him as well. I left him a sweet treat as well, as I shall sweeten the world, one jar of Praline Bars at a time.

Thank you to all that brightened my day and made it flow almost, flawlessly and for reducing my panic and stress by 100%. I salute you <3

I’m a firm believer that there are far more good that occurs in the world on an everyday basis.
I know this to be true.

I haven’t watched the news in so many years, that I can’t really remember that I ever did. What I do remember about the news then and currently (if I happen to catch a glimpse of it because I’m some place where it’s playing) is that it was/is mostly, heavily-ladled with negative, sad, depressing, horrendous, callous, traumatic news with a slight, sprinkle of jovial bits. And, as far as I’m concerned, aint nobody got time for that!

So, in an effort to highlight, acknowledged and applaud the folks around the world, that contribute to the pool of greatness, I’ve created this section just for you. This shall be fun, plus it shall help me to prove my theory!
