Yesterday, after fellowshipping with some of the warmest people I've encountered in such a long time, I lunched and began to cruise the heat-infused streets of Phoenix with utter ease and no direction. On purpose.
Once the air conditioner filled my vehicle with a briskness that felt ingestible I phoned my mother back as I'd spoken to her briefly prior to entering my newly found place of fellowship.
This was more than a normal chat as we visited on the phone for an extended amount of time. To be safe, I'd say we visited for over 4 hours via T-Mobile and our smart phones. Our talk consisted of everything from the status of her well being - my incessant travels and new beginnings.
I recall at the midway point of our conversation that I literally told her, "My flexibility is probably my best personality trait--I call it one of my superpowers." She didn't say much as she probably extended me one of her normal, "Uh-huh" kinda grunts, but she did so quietly which informed me she was absorbing my words.
If not for my flexibility, I would have missed out on so many wonderful opportunities and experiences. Plus, the lack of flexibility encourages negativity, including being broken, repeatedly. Life is challenging as shit quite often and to remain firm will only ensure that one will become easily shattered upon any strike of blunt force.
I fully believe in being focused, yet I also believe in being focused on allowing the allowance. Or in the words of the lil stick of dynamite Reverend that delivered yesterday's message, "Pay attention to your intention."
Intentions are yet another incredible tool that we tote around in our very worn, life tool belts. To set an intention means to direct your energies towards a goal of some sort; whether it's be to a great person, pay kindness forward, gain a master's degree, get married or have children. But, like most everything in life, just as there are more than one way to do things, there are numerous ways that our intentions can be carried out and/or delivered to us; which implies that intentions are stroked broadly.
To pay attention to an intention requires flexibility and a keen eye for details and signs. It's in those details and signs that one can see the very clear shift that has occurred and/or the one that's about to happen; it would behoove us to heed it's warnings/messages.
I had so much more to share; such profound things to add to this post but the universe interrupted me literally, to pay attention to the delicious message it had set right beside me. So, with that I shall simply digest and absorb the yumminess of such a hearty message and bid you beautiful creatures, ado!

*Swish, scratch, swish*...went the brushes and palm swipes of seven-subtly, eager artists against their roughly-textured and prepped canvases. Resonating incredibly soothing feels, like a medium-bristled brush being lovingly and carefully raked through her hair. It gave her the chills (click to read more of the sample and purchase)...
She, steadily walked down the busy road, yet there were no appropriate sidewalks and cars were whizzing by. At any given time, there may have been a million questions/comments/thoughts/replays/intentions and words traveling along the synapses of her nerve endings, overflowing her system and blowing her mind (click to read more of the sample and purchase)...
