RuPaul's Drag Race is an amazing enough platform to stand on and be catapulted into the mass limelight and white-hot, spotlight of your very own stage. That's what this incredibly, fierce and "unapologetically, know who the fuck I am", self-proclaimed "Nerd" and Cosplay advocate and ex-contestant of the show, who's full of Southern grace and class did, anyway.
I was told that she was to arrive many, many hours before she actually did. By 4:00pm, it had already been an extremely long day. I arrived to the venue (our home base--Live On Central), tired but excited which gave me my second wind (to pull off these kinds of events you need at least 7 winds and I was only on my second! Lol)...we got setup for the other 3 events that were to take place prior to the main one. With little - no hitches, the other events went amazingly, well. It was now 10pmish...I sat down, pooped. Approximately, 5 minutes later, I stood up and headed out of the office and onto the balcony for a breath of fresh air and without even seeing her face, I saw her--her back was turned to me, but I knew it was her. I also knew that I'd just stepped into the space of fiery, goodness. She stood solidly, tall. I saw legs that went on for eons. Legs, unlike any pair I'd ever seen before--Gasp! I turned around and walked back into the office, only being able to mutter, "she's here."
After what seemed like a lengthy and lustful leg affair later, I regrouped and headed BACK to the balcony as I had to meet the legs and Statuesque beauty above them.
She's genuinely approachable, however, I could see how one would be slightly hesitant and/or intimidated to approach her when this bare-footed 6'4" Amazon is in 4" - 6" heels. But, I've never been deterred from anything that I seek/desire, so off I went.
After I introduced myself, I left her to be to feel out her surroundings and space and then appropriately, I reappeared! LOL--Here's the TEA about her:
She's incredibly articulate.
She's comfortable in her own skin and space.
She's a visionary.
Her energy is ELECTRIC!
OH! And, she's a LEO! ;)
I never wanted our interview to end as we chopped it up and had an entire ball. I almost forgot that I'd just met her. She's someone I'll definitely be keeping my eyes on and following throughout her career. Also, we shall bring her back to Grand Coffee Talk in the very near future.
"It (Rupaul's Drag Race) was kinda like rehab and prison"

*Swish, scratch, swish*...went the brushes and palm swipes of seven-subtly, eager artists against their roughly-textured and prepped canvases. Resonating incredibly soothing feels, like a medium-bristled brush being lovingly and carefully raked through her hair. It gave her the chills (click to read more of the sample and purchase)...
She, steadily walked down the busy road, yet there were no appropriate sidewalks and cars were whizzing by. At any given time, there may have been a million questions/comments/thoughts/replays/intentions and words traveling along the synapses of her nerve endings, overflowing her system and blowing her mind (click to read more of the sample and purchase)...
